Car2Go: The costs at a glance
Car2Go prices vary depending on the car model, location and time of rental. The fees listed below may therefore vary upwards.
- Registration with the car sharing provider "Car2Go" costs a one-off fee of 9 euros.
- Cost per minute: With Car2Go you pay per minute. Renting a Smart costs 19 cents per minute, for a Mercedes A-Class you pay 28 cents per minute. The B-Class, as well as the CLA and GLA start at 31 cents a minute.
- Time tariffs: For longer rental periods of two hours or more, Car2Go offers various time tariffs. Here you can rent the vehicle models for up to 48 hours. For example, a Smart for 48 hours with a limit of 400 kilometers costs 139 euros, which means that the minute price is reduced to five cents.
- Tip: In areas with little demand, Car2Go cars are standing around inactive. Renting one of these cars can save you up to 20 percent of the minute cost.
- Special costs : There are increased costs for traffic violations, incorrect parking or other exceptional cases.
