Rip CD - which format?

CD ripping - this format makes sense
- It used to be said that you should use MP3 format for ripping CDs to save storage space.
- Unfortunately, there is always better quality these days, so it is not uncommon to choose a different format.
- We therefore recommend the format "FLAC", which means as much as "Free Lossless Audio Codec", in English about "Free lossless audio codec". This gives you the best sound quality currently available.
