Cleaning the ceramic hob: household products, cleaners and procedures
If you cook more frequently in the kitchen, you have to clean the ceramic hob regularly. We show you how to get the stove clean again.
Instructions: Clean the ceramic hob properly
Stubborn incrustations only appear on the ceramic hob after a few days. You can save most of the work in the future by wiping the ceramic hob with a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid immediately after it has been soiled.
- A glass scraper works most effectively. Always place the full surface of the blade on the ceramic hob to avoid scratches.
- If you don't have a glass scraper at hand, you can use oven spray or a dishwasher tab dissolved in warm water.
- Simply leave the agent of your choice on the stove for 30 minutes. You can then simply wipe off all dirt. Then wipe the ceramic hob again with clear water.
Clean the ceramic hob with household products
It doesn't always have to be chemical cleaning agents. With simple home remedies you can also give the ceramic hob a new shine.
- To do this, mix a pack of baking soda with a little water to create a paste. Apply the paste to the dirt and let it work for 30 minutes.
- If the dirt is not as heavy, you can also use lemon juice. This also has to take effect for some time. Then wipe again with clear water.
- To make the ceramic hob shine again, you can wipe it dry with a microfiber cloth. If you have petroleum jelly in the house, you can rub a tip of the petroleum jelly into the glass with a soft cloth. After about 5 minutes you can also polish the ceramic hob with a dry cloth.
