Quick and easy: make cheeseburgers yourself
The cheeseburger is also very popular in summer - whether it's for a BBQ in the garden or a picnic in the park. Here we present a recipe with which you can quickly and easily prepare the popular snack yourself. The following ingredients are designed for four cheeseburgers:
- 600 grams of minced beef
- Two eggs
- Three tablespoons of breadcrumbs
- Two tablespoons of mustard
- Two medium-sized red onions
- A clove of garlic
- A chili pepper
- Four burger buns
- Four slices of cheese (for example Gouda or Cheddar)
- Two large tomatoes
- Eight lettuce leaves
- Four little pickled cucumbers
- A tablespoon of ketchup and / or BBQ sauce and / or mustard
- salt and pepper
Your cheeseburger in just a few steps
When you have all the ingredients together, you can start preparing.
- In the first step, chop one of the two onions and the garlic into small cubes. Then crush the chili pepper in a mortar.
- Now put the mince, eggs, breadcrumbs, mustard, onion cubes, garlic, chilli, salt and pepper in a bowl and knead everything well into a homogeneous mass. Make four patties (hack steaks).
- Grill the patties on each side for three minutes. Alternatively, you can fry the minced steaks in the pan with a little oil.
- You can also toast the burger rolls on the grill or alternatively put them briefly in a warm oven.
- Cut the other onion into rings and the tomatoes into a total of eight slices (two per burger), as well as the pickled cucumbers (one cucumber per burger).
- Wash the lettuce and layer it with the minced steaks, cheese, tomatoes, onion rings and cucumber on the rolls. Finally, season everything with ketchup or another grill sauce. Good Appetite!
