Chrome: How to clear browser data
To clear the list of recently closed tabs, you need to remove the entire history:
- Press [Ctrl] + [H] to open the history.
- There you can mark the relevant pages and then delete them via "Remove selected entries".
- Alternatively, click on "Clear browser data". Select a period from the dropdown list and check the "Browsing history" box.
- Press "Clear browsing history" to remove the data.
- Google Chrome also offers "incognito mode". The history is not saved in this mode. It is activated by the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [N] or in the Chrome menu.
