Chrome does not play videos: perform update and test plugins
Chrome’s updates typically run automatically and update the add-ons required to play videos.
- If this did not work for you, carry out a manual update.
- You can find out whether a particular plugin is blocking playback by trying to play the video in incognito mode. If you can see the film now, deactivate the extensions one after the other to find the troublemaker.
- If that doesn't work, reset Chrome to its default settings.
