Chrome: block tracking cookies
So that not every step you take on the Internet is tracked, you should block the tracking cookies under Google Chrome. In this practical tip we will show you how.
Disable third-party cookies on Chrome
- Start Chrome and click on the three horizontal lines at the top right.
- Select the "Settings" in the menu.
- Click on the "Settings" tab on the right.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the blue text "Show advanced settings ...".
- Select the "Content Settings ..." button under "Privacy".
- Now check the "Block data from being saved for all websites" and "Block third-party cookies and website data" options.
- Click "Done" and then restart Chrome.
