Chromebook: Use Photoshop - so it works
Photoshop now also runs on Chrome OS on the Chromebook and in the Chrome browser for Windows, even without installation. We'll show you how it works and who can use it.
Use Photoshop on the Chromebook
- Photoshop comes with full functionality under Chrome OS. The software runs in the virtualized Chrome app sandbox, which currently has some restrictions.
- Functions that access the GPU and printing are not yet supported. Photoshop does not need to be installed on the Chrome OS, all data is saved online in Google Drive.
- The Photoshop Streaming project is currently still in the beta phase. Only Adobe customers with a Creative Cloud subscription can currently take part in the test phase. Adobe wants to present new results and developments in about half a year.
