Cliqz - what can the Firefox addon do?
You can find out what the Firefox addon Cliqz is in this practical tip. With the additional program for Firefox, your address bar can be converted into a search engine. Cliqz can do even more - we'll show you what exactly.
Cliqz - Addon for Firefox
- Cliqz is a free extension for your Firefox browser.
- The addon shows search results from YouTube, Wikipedia and other sites in the address bar.
- You can download Cliqz from our downloads.
Cliqz - the Firefox extension can do that
As soon as you have installed Cliqz, the addon will be embedded in your address bar.
- You can now not only type and execute URLs in the address bar, but also simply type in search words and use the address bar as a search mask, so to speak.
- If you click on the Cliqz symbol next to the address bar and go to the standard search engine, you can decide at this point which page Cliqz should use as the search engine.
- In addition to the well-known search engines, you can also choose from Wikipedia or Ebay.
- You can easily block offensive content using Cliqz. To do this, click on the Cliqz icon and select "Block inappropriate content" under "Offensive content".
- If you type in the search words in the address bar but do not yet activate the search, Cliqz will already show you various interesting links to the words below the address bar.
- Here you can find, for example, current Twitter links or direct information on certain websites.
