Android error message "com.samsung.faceservice stopped" - you can do that
The error seems to be related to the inserted SD card. For many users, the error only occurred after an app was moved from the internal storage to the SD card. Most of the time, the error message appears when trying to access the camera or the gallery. This is especially the case if you save your camera pictures on the SD card or if you have saved pictures on your SD card. Here's how to fix this error:
- Navigate to the settings of your smartphone via the "Settings" app.
- Swipe up until you get to the "Applications" entry.
- Next, tap on the "Application Manager" item.
- In the application manager, tap on "MORE" in the top right and then on "Show system applications".
- Look for the entry "com.samsung.faceservice" in the list and select it.
- In the application info tap "Storage".
- Now delete the data and empty the cache by selecting the corresponding buttons "CLEAR DATA" and "CLEAR CACHE" (see picture).
- Now restart your smartphone. The error should no longer occur.
The emergency solution: reset your smartphone
