Find out computer ID
The computer ID is the name you assigned to your Windows PC. This practical tip shows you how to find out.
How to find out your computer ID:
- Open the command prompt by entering "cmd" in the Windows search and confirming with [Enter]. Now enter the command "ipconfig / all" (without quotation marks). Now scroll all the way up. Your computer ID is behind "Hostname".
- Alternatively, click on the Windows icon and right-click on "Computer". Then select the "Properties". In the opened window you will see your ID behind the entry "Computer name".
