To progress at Conan Exiles, you need steel bars and tar.
- Gradually, solid buildings with steel reinforcements are to be built from simple wooden barracks. Of course, superior steel weapons can also be crafted. And these, too, are made of steel.
- To get to this metal, a separate combustion process is necessary, in which tar is an essential component. The exact instructions for the production of steel can be found here.
- Tar falls off as a by-product in the tanning of leather. This is only possible in the tannery. Here bark is used as fuel.
- With each tanning process 1 tar is thrown away. These can then be stacked up to 100 and taken over into the inventory.
