WiFi on the Connect Box: Tips & Tricks
Many users want to change the password directly from the WLAN, since it is usually cryptic and therefore difficult to remember. Remember that you will need to reconnect to the WiFi on all devices as soon as you change the password or the name of your WiFi.
- The new WiFi password must be at least 8 characters long, contain large and small letters and at least one number. Choose a password that is as secure as possible.
- For the greatest possible range of the WLAN, you should place the router freely in the room. The strongest radiation is emitted on the first few meters. Therefore, do not hide the router behind large objects or under the cabinet.
- Other sparking objects such as cordless phones and microwaves also affect the performance of your WLAN. Here you can find more tips for better WiFi reception.
