This practical tip shows you how to activate cookies in Safari.
Activate cookies in Mac or Windows Safari
- Click in the menu bar on the top right to bring up the settings and then click on "Settings ..."
- In the next window click on the "Privacy" tab.
- To activate cookies, check the "Block cookies" option in front of the "Never" entry.
Activate cookies on the iPad / iPhone
The Safari is installed on Apple's smartphones and tablets as the standard browser.
- To configure the cookies on iPhone / iPad, go to the Settings app.
- There, scroll down to the "Safari" entry.
- If you click on this, you will see the line "Allow cookies" in the next menu under the heading "Data protection".
- The logic there is now reversed than in Mac / Windows Safari: To activate the cookies, check the "Always" checkbox.
