- The fastest way to insert the copyright symbol into your document is to simply put a small "c" in brackets. So: "There is a copyright symbol (c) here."
- If you want to insert several symbols, for example for trademark, the option "special characters" is more suitable.
Insert special characters and copyright symbol in the document
- In OpenOffice click on the "Insert" tab.
- Then select the "Special characters" option.
- The copyright symbol can be found in the "Basic Latin" and "Latin-1" categories.
- With a double click on the symbol it will be inserted into your document.
