Corel Draw - alternative: 3 free programs compared
Corel Draw combines various tools for image and vector graphics editing. There are several alternatives to the relatively expensive suite, for which you don't even have to spend money. We present three free tools.
1. Corel Draw alternative: Inkscape
- If you mainly want to work with vector graphics, Inkscape is a good and free alternative to Corel Draw.
- The tool can handle formats such as SVG, EPS, JPG, PNG and BMP. In addition to various graphics tools, you can also edit XML, nodes and layers.

2. Corel Draw alternative: Adobe Photoshop CS2
- Adobe Photoshop is the professional software par excellence among the image editing programs. The software manufacturer now offers the full version of Photoshop CS2, which used to cost over 1, 000 euros, as a free download for former customers.
- Although the program is somewhat older, it can still be used to work professionally on images and graphics.

3. Corel Draw Alternative: OpenOffice Draw
- With Draw, the open source software OpenOffice also includes its own vector graphics program.
- Draw can create and edit both vector graphics and pixel graphics. There are tons of different tools available for this, with which you can create an image from different geometric elements.
