The wait is over - the video game The Crew 2 will be released on June 29th. Until June 25th at 10 a.m. you can try the game for free in the Open Beta. In this article, we reveal what you need to consider.
Play The Crew 2 Open Beta - Here's how
- If you want to play the Xbox 2 or Xbox One X The Crew 2 Open Beta, search for the game in the Microsoft Store. If your cell phone is connected to the console, you can download the beta here. You do not need any further subscriptions to play in single player mode. However, if you want to play with your friends, you need Xbox Live Gold membership. The size of the game is 24 GB.
- You can download the Open Beta from the Playstation Store on the PS4 or PS4 Pro. Also here applies: If you want to explore the beta or the finished game alone, you do not need a Playstation + subscription. However, if you want to play with others, you must purchase such a subscription. You need 27 GB on your hard drive.
- On the PC you can download The Crew 2 Open Beta both on UPlay and in Steam. You need a Ubisoft account to play the beta. On Uplay you will find The Crew 2 under "Free Games", on Steam search for "The Crew 2 Open Beta" in the shop and press "play now". On the PC, you already need 23 GB to enjoy the beta.
The Crew 2 Beta: system requirements for the PC
- To play the game at the lowest graphics level in 1080p, you need a processor like the Intel Core i5-2400S with 2.5 GHz or the AMD FX-6100 with 3.3 GHz. All models from the nVidia GeForce GTC 660 or AMD HD 7870 with 2 GB VRAM are suitable as graphics cards. In addition, your PC should have at least 8 GB of RAM.
- In order for it to run smoothly in the same resolution with 30 FPS, you need a slightly faster processor and, above all, a more up-to-date graphics card. We recommend an nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 (with 2 GB vRAM), a GTX 760 (with 4 GB VRAM) or an AMD R9 270X (2 GB VRAM).
