The crew doesn't start - so fix the problem

The Crew doesn't start: You can do that
- First, check if your PC meets the official system requirements for The Crew. Otherwise you have to upgrade or install the game on another computer to be able to play it.
- Install the latest driver for your graphics card. You can find this either in the CHIP download area or on the manufacturer's website of your graphics card.
- Make sure you have installed the game and all patches. For more information, visit The Crew's official website. The Day One Patch in particular fixes some performance and stability problems.
- Also install the current DirectX version on your computer.
The crew does not start: reinstall the game
Before you take any further steps, you should reinstall the Uplay client.
- If the tips above don't help, uninstall The Crew and then restart your PC. Then reinstall the game with the latest patches.
- In some cases it can help if you start the game as administrator. To do this, right-click on the shortcut to the game and select "Run as administrator".
