In this practical tip, we explain how to play Crossy Road on a PC. This works either via Android emulator, in the browser or from the Windows store.
Play Crossy Road on your PC with an Android simulator
To play Crossy Road on PC, you need an Android emulator like AndY.
- Download the Android emulator and unzip the archive.
- Start the executable and follow the installation instructions.
- Then start the emulator and log in with your Google account, just like on your Android smartphone.
- Then click on the "Play Store".
- Look for "Crossy Road" there and click on the "Install" button.
- You can then play the game on the PC. You use either the mouse or the arrow keys for this.
Play Crossy Road in the browser
Alternatively, you can also play the arcade game in the browser:
- You can find the original game, for example, on the website of "Browsergames.de".
- You can also play Crossy Roads for free at "Agame.com".
Install Crossy Road from the Windows Store
- If the other two ways are too cumbersome for you, you can easily install the game via the Windows 8 or 10 stores.
- You can find the Windows Store easily by typing "Store" in the Windows search function.
- If you then search for Crossy Road in the store, you will get several search results. The result with the chick is the original game from the developer "Yodo1 Ltd" (see screenshot).
- Then all you have to do is press the "Free" button and the game will be loaded onto your computer.
