Cuphead - is there an online co-op mode?
Many players of the run-and-gun action game Cuphead want an online co-op mode, but unfortunately it doesn't officially exist. Here's how you can play together anyway.
Cuphead: No official online co-op mode
Cuphead does not have an official online co-op mode, although the game is actually very well suited for it. A resourceful player on Steam has found a way to still play the game together. However, this requires a graphics card from Nvidia. That's how it works:
- Open the Geforce Experience and go to Settings.
- Select "Enable experimental features."
- Activate "Share / In-Game Overlay" (the small triangle in the settings).
- Start Cuphead in full screen mode.
- Open the Nvidia overlay in the game. The default shortcut for this is Alt + Z.
- Then go to the overlay settings and select "Stream".
- Under "Allow friends to join the game, " select "Yes."
- Close and reopen the overlay. After that, a new option called "Stream" is available.
- Click on it and under "Guest control" set the option "Play with me" and confirm.
- Click "Stream" again and select "Copy Invite URL". Send this link to one of your friends and he can now play with you.
