If you want to use a different mouse pointer instead of the standard cursor in Windows 8, you can simply change it. We show you exactly how to do this.
Change mouse pointer in Windows 8
- Click on the Windows symbol in the task bar and enter the term "mouse pointer" in the Metro interface.
- Several search results appear. Decide on the entry "Change the appearance of the mouse pointer".
- In the "Customize" section you can see the previous cursor symbol in Windows 8 for each mouse pointer action.
- If you want to change the entire layout of the cursor, select a new design package using the "Scheme" option.
- Alternatively, you can adapt the individual cursor symbols by tapping on the action under "Adapt" and setting a new symbol via "Browse ...".
- Finally save your changes with the "Apply" button.
