If you want to cancel your membership in DAK-Gesundheit, you have to consider a few things. We will show you what is important and how you can best proceed.
DAK health cancel - membership and deadlines
In order to cancel your membership in DAK-Gesundheit, you must be insured with the health insurance for at least 18 months.
- The period of notice for DAK-Gesundheit is two months. Your cancellation therefore always takes effect at the end of the month after next.
- If you would like to change health insurance and quit DAK-Gesundheit in May, your membership is valid until July 31. So your switch to the new health insurance could only take place on August 1st.
- For the termination of your membership at DAK-Gesundheit, the requirements apply as for any letter of termination: your name, your address and the insured number must be available.
- The letter must also contain the current date and your signature.
- You should formulate the text in such a way that you give notice of termination at the earliest possible time and expect confirmation of termination within 14 days.

Uncomplicated and convenient: Cancellation directly via subscription alert
The easiest way to cancel your membership in DAK-Gesundheit is by subscription alert. All you have to do is add your data, print out the letter and then send it. The subscription alarm can optionally take over the cancellation completely for you: Depending on the payment method selected, the service costs EUR 3.49 or EUR 4.49.
