Longitudinal grooves in the fingernail: that's the reason
The grooves can extend both lengthways and across the fingernail. As a rule, however, the grooves run from top to bottom.

In most cases, the causes of the longitudinal grooves are completely harmless and can be treated if necessary. However, in rare cases, the fingernails can also indicate more serious diseases.
- Special skin diseases or arthritis can be felt through the fingernails. Infections or problems with the digestive tract can also cause the grooves.
