In this practical tip we will show you step by step how you can remove green screens with DaVinci Resolve.

- Make sure that the video track in DaVinci Resolve with the green screen is above the video track of the background.
- Add a "Serial Node". This is done with the key combination [Alt] + [S].
- Then add a new "Alpha Output".
- Connect the nodes to the Alpha Output.
- Click on the pipette icon, press "HSL" and select "3D".
- Click on the green area.
- This filtered out everything except the green area.
- In the next step click on "Invert".
- Then put a tick in "Despill".
- Now you have successfully removed the green screen and can continue to edit the video.
