Find DayZ weapons quickly
In DayZ, you can find weapons or weapon parts almost anywhere. Nevertheless, there are places where the chance is higher than elsewhere - especially for larger weapons, such as assault rifles or shotguns.
- In cities you can often find melee weapons such as baseball bats, fire extinguishers or axes. These are noiseless, but not very effective either. These weapons can also appear in smaller villages or individual houses.
- Larger weapons, such as the M4, can be found in military bases or on airfields. But be careful: you won't be the only adventurer looking for weapons here.
Locations of the larger weapons
The FNX45, LZH43 or the M4 are assault rifles with which you can properly hand out. Find out where you can find these and other larger weapons, such as shotguns, here:
- Balota: The Balota site is an airfield west of Chernogorsk. In addition to military bases, airfields in particular offer a high chance for larger weapons.
- International Airfield: This airfield is located in the north-west. Approach him cautiously as other zombie hunters will be looking for assault rifles as well. You should look for weapons, especially in the hangars.
- Krasnostav: A smaller airport is Krasnostav. This is in the extreme north-east. Again, be careful!
