Dead by Daylight: content of the Stranger Things expansion
The Stranger Things expansion for Dead by Daylight is rated by players as one of the best DLCs for the game. The large size ensures numerous hours of play that can be experienced with the scary monster from the Netflix show.
- The Demogorgon from Stranger Things is introduced as a new playable monster. He can make use of the arena through his talents.
- The characters Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington also belong to the scope of the expansion. You will each receive 3 talents that are helpful in the game against the Demogorgon.
- A thematically fitting map called The Underground Complex is offered with the DLC. This is located under the Hawkins National Laboratory, which is known from the series. The card is thematically inspired by the incidents in Stranger Things, which can be seen in the design.
- Last but not least, you can look forward to two new cosmetic items. Scarred, rolled-up sleeves are inspired by Steve Harringen and the torn sweatshirt by Nancy. These items are only available from the DLC.
Dead by Daylight Stranger Things: a portrait of the demogorgon
The central aspect of the Stranger Things Dead by Daylight DLC is of course the Demogorgon. Originating from a foreign dimension, the creature redeems fear and terror even with its mouth closed. If the teeth and the throat are presented by a mouth, the initial fear turns to sheer horror. The Demogorgon has unique talents that noticeably influence the game.
- From the Abyss : From the Abyss is the monster's unique strength. It can use portals with this to move around the map faster and more unpredictably.
- Voltage surge : This talent ensures that the surrounding technology is disrupted and thus the progress of the generators declines. If survivors are caught with the voltage surge, they fall to the ground.
- Cruel limits : After the completion of a generator, the points for jumping or windows in the immediate vicinity are made unusable. As a result, survivors have to run for their lives.
- Soulbreaker : If survivors work on generators, they receive the status "exhausted". Weak survivors are much easier to catch.
