Dead by Daylight: Level up quickly - the best tips
To level up quickly in Dead by Daylight, you need to be as active as possible in the game. In this article, we show you exactly how this works and what tips you should consider as a killer and survivor.
How to level as a survivor
As a survivor, you should be as helpful as possible. With every active participation in the game, you collect points with which you can then expand your blood network and level up. So the more you do, the more points you get.
- Help others. But only if you don't put yourself in too great a danger. If, for example, someone is hanging on the killer’s hook, but the killer is still waiting there, you have to watch closely and don’t let yourself be restless. This is the only way you can help without becoming a victim yourself. Pay special attention to the floor under the hook if you have the trapper as a killer: this could have set up a bear trap there.
- If you find a box, you should search it. This not only gives you points, but you also get, for example, a valuable medicine case with which you can heal yourself and others and also get points again.
- You can also trick the killer: lure him into a trap and then quickly drop the palette. Alternatively, you can also look for a hiding place in a closet or behind a tree. You also get points for this and "bold" is displayed on the side because you were so brave to get close to the killer. Escape it and score points too.
- However, you shouldn't just help others and play attentively, because your goal is survival. The best way to do this is to repair generators. When all the generators on a card have been repaired, you can move to the exit and open it with a switch. Another escape option is the hatch, which you have to find first.
Level up the killer quickly
It is important as a killer that you use your skills as often as possible. These give you points and with these points you can then unlock new perks in the blood network at the end of the round.
- You can use traps to catch survivors and turn the game in your favor. As a trapper, you should always have a trap nearby so that you can set it cheaply. If someone falls into your trap, you get a lot of points and it takes you forward as a killer.
- As a ghost, you can also watch the survivors for a while. If you are invisible, you will not notice them and you could be lucky and catch a very favorable moment.
- With the chainsaw, it is possible to kill survivors with just one hit if it is set correctly. However, you should be aware that this blow must be charged for this and you must hit it precisely to trigger the death animation.
- In general, the same applies to the killer that you get more points the more active you were in the round. So it can help to fully exploit all possibilities. Use all the skills you have.
