Destiny: error code Baboon - you can do that
Baboon is an error code used for connection problems in Destiny. We explain what you can do about it.
Baboon errors - how to fix Destiny
Bungie, the developers of Destiny, are working hard to reduce connection problems. Nevertheless, mistakes like Baboon keep creeping in. You can do that:
- In general, Baboon is a well-known general network error. It is automatically reported immediately whenever it occurs.
- These are lost data packets or complete connection interruptions.
- This can be due to the heavy load on your own network, but also due to overloaded network providers. For example, stop downloads that are running in the background or on other devices in the same network to counteract this.
- Wi-Fi and cell phone hotspots, which are generally less stable than cable connections, can also cause the problem.
- Bungie therefore recommends playing with a high-speed connection if possible. You should also use Xbox Live Gold or PS Plus.
- If you can no longer log in to Destiny after the connection has been lost, you must completely quit the game and restart.
- Correct NAT settings in your console also help against network errors.
- For the PlayStation it should be type 1 NAT, for the Xbox Open NAT.
