Deutsche Bank Email: "Please renew your PIN" - Is this spam?
Supposed customers of Deutsche Bank are currently particularly affected by spam emails. In a new variant of phishing emails, the recipient is asked to renew the PIN or Telepin. Even if you are not a Deutsche Bank customer, you will receive such emails.

Phishing emails with "Deutsche Bank" as sender have been in circulation for a few days. With such emails, fraudsters try to get sensitive data of the recipient.
- In the mail you will be asked to change your PIN or your Telepin due to prolonged inactivity or new security guidelines.
- This should work for free via a link that is specified in the mail.
- The link leads to a fake Deutsche Bank website. You should enter your account details here.
- However, the data does not go to Deutsche Bank, but ends up with the sender of the phishing emails.
- Under no circumstances should you click the link and do not follow the instructions in the email. Also, do not open attachments to dubious mails. It is best to delete the pishing emails unread.
- In principle, Deutsche Bank does not ask its customers to provide personal data by email, phone or SMS.
