Deutsche Bank has a mobile app with which you can do your banking business online. In this practical tip, we will show you how to load the app and register.
Activate the Deutsche Bank Mobile App's photoTAN procedure
You can manage your entire account in the Deutsche Bank Mobile App, which is available for both Android and iOS. To set up banking, first activate the photoTAN procedure in your account. This is necessary so that you can order transfers in the app. For the application to work, your account must also already be approved for online banking.
- Visit the Meine Deutsche Bank website and log in with your branch number, your account number and your online banking PIN.
- Then click on "Services" at the top and then on "Security Procedure" at the bottom left.
- Select "Set up photoTAN procedure" and read all the information carefully. Then click on "Request activation letter".
- The letter should reach you after a few working days. Open it and download the "Deutsche Bank photoTAN" app on your smartphone.
- Open the app and tap "Activate device> Next".
- Scan a photoTAN for the first time. Hold your smartphone over the colored code that can be seen in the activation letter.
- Visit the Deutsche Bank website again and log in. Enter the generated activation code under "Services".
- Scan a photoTAN again. This time it can be seen directly on the website.
- Your smartphone generates a TAN. Enter this in the appropriate field to activate your device.
Banking with the app
Download the Deutsche Bank Mobile App to use the application in its full range of functions. If you have already dealt with online banking in the browser, the functions will appear familiar to you.
- Overview: After you have logged in to the app with your branch number, your account number and your online banking PIN, you are on the overview page. Here you can see your account balance and any other credit on credit cards or deposits.
- Turnover: For example, if you tap "Open" on the overview page for your personal account, you will see all the turnover.
- Bank transfers: If you scroll down in your overview, you will find yourself in the "Bank transfers" area, where you can order bank transfers and standing orders. You can only make transfers if you use the secure TAN procedure. With the configured photoTAN, all of this works conveniently on your smartphone.
- Pay mobile: If you store a credit card in your app, you can now pay mobile in many places. To do this, the map is scanned on the display of your smartphone in the app.
