The best tips for the Diablo 3 add-on Reaper of Souls
In advance: The right cheats for the "Diablo 3" expansion "Reaper of Souls" are not yet known. “Reaper of Souls” was released in late March 2014 and is Blizzard's first major expansion of “Diablo 3”, released in 2012.
- The first time you defeat the final boss Malthael in the "Diablo 3" expansion "Reaper of Souls" will receive a legendary item tailored to your level as a "Bonus Legendary". Therefore, you should wait until you have reached the new maximum level 70. Don't worry: the good, or the bad, is guaranteed not to run away!
- Of course, everyone who plays the new class of crusaders starts from scratch in the main game. But thanks to the new "Loot 2.0" loot system, this is particularly worthwhile, because you will now mostly only find items that you as a crusader also benefit from.
- With the mystic, "Reaper of Souls" is a brand new dealer who can magically change your items. It can enchant or transmogrify them. This will be familiar to "World of Warcraft" players: For a price, the mystic can change the look of your items. So don't sell everything right away! However, the price rises with every new enchantment, so you have to consider whether and when the investment is still worthwhile. The mystic must be unlocked in act five with the quest "Souls of the Dead".
- There is no auction house anymore. If you want to sell something, you have to meet other players directly. Conversely, this also means that you have to be more active yourself to complete sets.
- Crafting has changed. In contrast to the main game, the choice of materials now plays a major role in "Reaper of Souls". There are simple items, but also 42 legendary resources that you can only find in certain locations or with certain bosses. Take a close look, because these items are not marked by a pillar of light or on the map!
- In the new adventure mode, you can travel across the whole game, even in previous files. There are bounties to be collected by solving smaller, special tasks and performing random tasks such as killing a certain enemy.
- You can now find particularly rich loot in Nephalem portals. Behind it are randomly generated dungeons with their own quests. However, entry with a keystone is relatively expensive, because you only get it after completing all five bounty quests in one act. You should therefore first bet on bounties and collect keystones.
- New game mode: You can travel back to any waypoint in any chapter in the new adventure mode. This makes the game less linear and gives you a chance to find missed items and treasures. Adventure mode is unlocked by defeating the new Act 5 boss Malthael for the first time. In addition, bounty quests like "Clean the Gate to Hell" and "Kill Hammer" are relatively easy to farm gold, EXP, and even legendary items because you can repeat them as often as you like.
- Legendary items are now guaranteed if you defeat one of the five act-end bosses as a "first kill" and you are between levels 11 and 59.
- A tip for choosing the level of difficulty: this depends on the equipment you have reached so far. If a goblin treasure hunter can still escape, you'd better lower the level of difficulty by one level. The new, highest difficulty level "Torment" or "Torment" will be activated as soon as one of the characters on your account has reached level 60. Important: You will now only find set items if you play in "Torment"!
- Incidentally, the game adapts all opponents to your level - regardless of the difficulty level you are currently on.
- You can change active skills at any time in "Reaper of Souls".
- The add-on makes it super easy to travel as soon as you quest in a group. Because then you can simply teleport to your adventurer friend by clicking on the corresponding character image.
- After the maximum level of 70 it is far from over! End-gamers can upgrade to so-called new Paragon levels and achieve certain bonuses that apply to all avatars on your account.
