Save Diablo 3: How to save your game
If you want to save your save in Diablo 3, you cannot do this manually. We explain how the Diablo 3 storage system works.
Save your score in Diablo 3
- In Diablo 3, the save points are always created automatically. This is the case, for example, when a certain point in the quest has been reached. Gold, experience, and inventory are cached regularly, but not always.
- Everything that happens after a save point is no longer saved. This is particularly noticeable with a disconnect. Manual saving would make sense in some cases, but is unfortunately not possible.
- If you are at a completely different point after logging in, you can return to the last point via the quest selection. If you select a previous quest, the location will be overwritten by the last save point.
- Note: The scores are only saved online. There is no way to create a personal backup of the game.
