Keyboard shortcuts for the iPhone: An overview of the most important ones
Note: Not all features are available on every iPhone. Some functions are also only available via an update to iOS 11.

- Restart: If you hold down the power and home button for longer, a restart is forced. On newer iPhone models, hold the volume up and volume down buttons instead of the home button.
- SOS: Press the power button five times in a row. Then Touch ID is deactivated and a countdown for an emergency call starts.
- Emergency passport: If you have filled out your emergency passport in the Health app, you can have it displayed on the lock screen. To do this, press and hold the volume up, volume down and power buttons.
- Calls: If you want to mute an incoming call, simply press the power button. If you want to completely reject the call, double-click the power button.
- Photos: Especially with selfies, it is difficult to always hit the trigger. Alternatively, you can also use the volume up or volume down button.
- One-handed mode: If you double-click on the home button, the one-handed mode is activated on the home screen. This is particularly useful for the slightly larger Plus models.

- More letters: If you search in vain for more letters on your iPhone, you can now rest easy. Since not all letters and special characters fit on the small keyboard, they are hidden behind some letters. For example, if you hold your finger on the letter "o", you will not only find the "ö", but also the Danish "ø".
- Other keyboard: On your iPhone you can not only use the default keyboard, but also many more. A handy shortcut that Apple has already integrated is to create a period when the spacebar is pressed twice. You can also create your own commands here. If you now write the letters "bgd" somewhere on your iPhone, they will automatically be converted into the specified text.
