DisplayPort not working - what to do?
Every now and then your DisplayPort connection may not work. We'll tell you what you can do in this case.
DisplayPort is not working: you can do it
- First check whether you have inserted the cable correctly at both ends. To do this, disconnect it from the corresponding devices and carefully plug it in again.
- Try the cable on other DisplayPort connectors to find out whether the problem is with one of your technical devices or the cable itself.
- In most cases, it is also recommended to use a different DisplayPort cable as a test.
- Install the latest drivers for your graphics card. You can find these in our driver area or on the website of the manufacturer of your graphics card.
DisplayPort does not work: Other possible solutions
- Check in the graphics settings whether the correct monitor has been selected. You can temporarily connect a monitor via another interface if the DisplayPort connection still does not work.
- Also make sure that the graphics card is properly stowed in your PC and is functional.
