The Division: Trade and trade with other players
Only with Patch 1.1 can you trade and swap your loot with other games in The Division. We show you how the trading system works.
The Division: This is how trading with other players works
- The developers integrated the new system for trading quite simply. To trade an item, you simply have to drop it. Your exchange partner can then pick up the item.
- Note that the item is really on the floor. The exchange can only be carried out from there. If an object is placed correctly, it is marked with a light cone. You can recognize the quality of the item by the color.
- Although trading is so simple in itself, its rules and restrictions are not. In the next paragraph you will find out what you have to pay attention to when trading and what restrictions exist.
The Division: rules for trading and trading
- Once you've added an item to the game, you only have 2 hours to trade it with another player. Of course, you can also hand over items without consideration.
- Be wary of every trade. Opposing players can disrupt trade and collect your items from the ground. In the dark zone you will find some safe areas where undisturbed trading is possible.
- Trading only works within the group. If an item has already been exchanged, it cannot change the owner again. Although these are strict rules, this prevents a market for in-game items.
