Reset DLink router to factory settings
If the DLink router has problems or you have forgotten the password, the last way is usually to reset to the factory settings. We'll tell you how to do it.
Reset DLink router
- Remove all cables connected to the router, except the power cable.
- You will now find a small hole next to the power connection. Open a paper clip and press it into the hole for ten seconds.
- The router now restarts and can be reached again after approximately 30 seconds at the IP address 192.168.0.1.
- So that you can log in to the user interface, use the user name "admin" and leave the field for the password blank.
