Add DNS server: Step 1- Open network settings
- Click on the Windows icon at the bottom left and open the "Control Panel" on the right.
- Under the "Network and Internet" category you will find the "Network and Sharing Center".
- If you click on the "Change adapter settings" option on the left, you will see an overview of all network adapters.
- Right-click to open the "Local Area Connection" and select "Properties" from the context menu.
Step 2: add DNS server in Windows 7
- Under the "General" tab you will find a list with various elements. Look for the entry "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)".
- Select the entry and click on the "Properties" button below.
- Activate the option "Use the following DNS server addresses" and enter two DNS servers.
- Advanced users can configure the connection even more precisely using the "Expand" button.
- When you click the "OK" button, your settings are saved.
