No matter whether with raspberries, chocolate or colorful frosting: donuts are only perfect after glazing. We present three simple and quick do-it-yourself recipes.
Fruity: glaze donuts with raspberries and coconut
Glaze your donuts with a fresh summer raspberry glaze. Tip: You can also create the glaze with strawberries or other fruits.
- Ingredients (for 20 donuts): 250g powdered sugar, 6 tablespoons frozen raspberries, 20g coconut flakes
- Defrost the raspberries in a bowl in the microwave. Then puree them so that no pieces are left.
- Mix the powdered sugar and raspberries until smooth.
- Dip your donuts in the glaze. Then sprinkle them with grated coconut.
- Finally, place the donuts on baking paper to harden.
Classic: chocolate-glazed donuts
Use dark chocolate, whole milk or white chocolate coating for a chocolate glaze.
- Ingredients (for 20 donuts): 200g chocolate coating, 50g butter, 1 teaspoon coconut fat, 5 tablespoons milk, 50g powdered sugar, chocolate sprinkles
- Melt the chocolate coating, the butter and the coconut fat in a saucepan over a water bath. Then add the milk. Mix the mass with the powdered sugar until smooth.
- Dip the donuts into the glaze one after the other. Decorate them optionally with chocolate sprinkles.
- Let the finished donuts dry on baking paper.
Colorful: colorful frosting with pearls
Cover your donuts with different colored icings. To do this, mix the mixed pour with food coloring until the desired shades are obtained.
- Ingredients (for 20 donuts): 380g powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons milk, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, various food colors, sugar pearls
- Mix the icing sugar, milk and vanilla extract in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
- Mix the icing in smaller bowls with different food colors.
- Cover the donuts with the glazes. Finally sprinkle them with sugar pearls.
- Let the glaze dry by placing the donuts on baking paper.
