Dota 2 Guide: Sand King Jungle
The Sand King in Dota 2 can become a real monster in the jungle. In our guide we explain how to do it.
DotA 2: Sand King in the jungle
Sand King is no longer as effective as he was in Jungle in DotA 2, but that's why you can still surprise your opponents with it.
- You start as Sand King in the jungle without any objects. How to save gold and make it even faster to the essential items: Blink Dagger and Arcane Boots. Alternatively, you can at least start with simple shoes.
- Start with a point in Sand Storm. So you can attack the jungle camps without receiving any damage yourself. However, the ability is initially very weak and the jungle is rather difficult.
- Stacking is essential for Sand King's jungle rotation. So the multiple occupancy of a camp. Concentrate on the big camps. In the next article, we'll explain how to stack creeps in DotA 2.
- By stacking you have two camps at once and compensate for the minor damage of Sand Storm at level one.
- If you have two stacks in a camp, attack it and activate Sand Storm immediately. So you get little or no damage.
- The monsters will now try to dodge you, but return after a short while and run into the storm again. So slowly wear them down.
- As soon as the sandstorm subsides, retreat briefly. If the time is right, pull the survivors out of the camp as before and try to get a third stack. Otherwise, just attack again with Sand Storm.
- With the second Sand Storm you should finally climb up the level. Invest the vacated point in Burrowstrike. At level three, you take Sand Storm to level two. Sand Storm's damage is quadrupled, making the jungle much easier.
- When you've cleaned up a camp and are waiting for respawns, rotate to smaller camps and get them done after you've stacked them again.
- Repeat this process until you have enough gold for the Blink Dagger. Depending on your speed and luck, this should be the case for just under eight minutes.
- Mud Golems and Sartyr Healers slow the rotation. Golems endure too much and healers heal their allies and thus also drag the jungle out.
- If you don't have the patience for the first levels in the jungle, you can start on a lane and support it here. As soon as you reach level three, put on the jungle.
The right DotA-2 items for the Sand King Jungle
- The Blink Dagger and the Arcane Boots are essential for the Sand King. This allows you to start Epicenter from a safe distance and then teleport right next to unsuspecting enemies. The shoes compensate for the Sand King's insatiable appetite.
- Depending on the situation, Black King Bar, Veil of Discord, Blade Mail, Aghanim's Scepter, Heart of Tarrasque and Shiva's Guard help.
- Depending on the need, the Sand King can endure much more or its spells do more damage and are more difficult to interrupt. Every item here is a good choice.
Sand King's capabilities in DotA 2
- You start with Sand Storm at level one and invest at levels three, five and seven more points to increase the area damage as quickly as possible.
- Burrowstrike is your stun. Level him up to levels two, four, eight and nine.
- You can increase your Ultimate Epicenter at levels 6, 11 and 16.
- Many players save Caustic Finale until the end, because it doesn't bring much in the jungle. Therefore, invest the first point at level ten and pull up the skill last.
