Drive document: Message to authorized users
With just a few clicks, you can send a message to individual or all authorized users of a document in Google Drive. We will show you how to do this here.
Send a message to the collaborator of the Drive document
If you want to tell something to a person authorized to edit a document, you do not have to contact them all individually. Instead, you can email all users directly through Google Drive:
- Click on "File" in the menu bar and then on "Send email to collaborator ...".
- Enter your message in the appropriate field. You can also change the subject or leave the default.
- In the right pane, select the recipient of the message. All users who have access to the document are listed here.
- With the checkboxes you determine whether you would like a copy of the message to be sent to your own email address and whether you want to insert the document in the email.
- Click on the send button to send your message to the selected authorized users.
