Dropbox app: preview for Word, PowerPoint and PDFs

The Dropbox app can now preview any Word, PowerPoint and PDF files on both iOS and Android. We show you how this works in this guide.

What has been possible in the Dropbox app for iOS for ages has recently also worked on Android. External apps were previously required for this.
Simply tap on the desired file to preview it.
Among other things, the file formats TXT, DOC, DOCX, PPT, PPTX, XLS, XLSX and PDF are compatible. You can both zoom and scroll in the open document.
