Dropbox creates a sharing list for your shared folders and links. This enables you to understand exactly which files are visible to other users and which data only you can access. We explain how to access the list.
Dropbox sharing list: View all shared content
With Dropbox you can, among other things, share folders with other users. This allows friends and acquaintances to access certain files from your cloud and even change them if necessary. Dropbox logs each share in a sharing list so that you can understand which data is released even after a long time.
- To open the list, first go to the Dropbox website in your browser and log in to your account.
- In the left column click on "Files".
- Then select the "Release" item.
- In the "Folders" tab you can see all shared folders, "Files" shows you all shared individual files and under "Links" Dropbox lists all data for which you have created sharing links.
- Tip: Next to each entry you will find further options which you can use to edit and cancel the releases.
If a folder has been shared with you via Dropbox, you can also leave this shared folder.
