Dropbox: change password

For the security of your data, you should change your Dropbox password regularly. We show you how to do this.

Change password for your own Dropbox

1. Open the Dropbox website and log in with your account data.
2. Click on your name in the top right corner and select the entry "Settings".
3. Go to the "Security" tab and click on the blue link "Change password".
4. Type in the old and new password. Confirm the change with "Change password".

Even if you change your password, you will still be logged in to your Dropbox with all apps. However, if you have set up your Dropbox as a network drive, you have to change the password.
