To better protect your data in the Dropbox account from misuse, you can remove apps associated with Dropbox. We'll show you how to do this in 3 simple steps.
Remove linked apps from the Dropbox
- Log in to Dropbox and click the drop-down arrow at the top right of your name. Then select "Settings" in the menu.
- Switch to the "Security" tab. Below you will find the entry "Apps linked". All apps that you have granted access to your private data are listed here.
- So that you can remove the app from your Dropbox, you must now click on the cross on the right. Confirm your selection with "Uninstall".
Tip: You can also turn off Dropbox notifications, protecting your email account from a flood of messages.
