If you want to access your data faster, you can add your Dropbox to the start menu. We show you how to do this.
Add Dropbox shortcut to the Windows Start menu
By default, you cannot connect the Dropbox to the start menu. With a little trick you can turn the useless library "TV recordings" into your Dropbox folder and add it to the start menu:
- To do this, right-click on the start button and select "Properties".
- Click the "Customize" button.
- Under "TV recordings" select the option "Show as link".
- Open the start menu and open the new entry "TV recordings" with the right mouse button.
- Select "Properties" and click on "Add folder" in the "Library" tab.
- Navigate to the location of your Dropbox and add it. Now delete all other folders with the "Remove" button.
- Finally, switch to the "General" tab. Here you change the library name in "Dropbox" and confirm the changes with "Ok".
To access your data even faster, set up your Dropbox as a network drive.
