DSTWO Supercard: firmware update - how it works
You should update the firmware of your DSTWO Supercard regularly. This is how you ensure that the flash card also works with the current operating system of the Nintendo 2DS or 3DS. We show you how to do this.
Update the firmware of the DSTWO Supercard
Tip: If an update is available for your Nintendo, always check first whether the Supercard can also be updated and before you update the OS. Otherwise, error messages may appear and the card will no longer work on your Nintendo.
- Visit the official DSTWO Supercard website and download the latest firmware update. Also check whether the current EOS is installed on your Supercard. If not, you can download it from the same page.
- Unzip the downloaded folder.
- Insert the MicroSD card of the Supercard into your PC using a USB adapter. Then copy the "dstwoupdate.dat" file into the main memory of the card. Important: The file must not be in any subfolder.
- Put the MicroSD back in the Supercard and insert it again into your Nintendo 2DS / 3DS.
- Start the Supercard. The update is recognized automatically. Confirm the installation only with "A". If you get an error message, the Nintendo operating system is too new. Then all you have to do is use a console with an older OS. If you have installed the update on such a device, the Supercard will work with your 3DS / 2DS again.
