DTV audio output - what is it?
Digital television, or DTV for short, stands for the broadcasting of television programs in digitized form:
- DTV audio output is a digital audio signal that is sent to an AV receiver.
- You can usually change the "DTV volume" in the audio settings of speakers. Here you adjust the volume of digital audio signals, which you usually cannot adjust with a normal TV.
- You can receive DTV via a conventional indoor antenna as long as the signal strength at your home is sufficient.
