When sending emails, it may be helpful or necessary to reduce the size of the attachment. This way you can be sure that the file will reach the recipient and you don't have to wait long for the message to be sent.
Why and which email attachment size?
Especially with many attachments, shrinking and packing the attachments creates space and order. Even with a slow internet connection, it saves time and nerves.
- By packing the files into a compressed folder, they shrink according to a certain system. When unpacking, the system is used again to add the information that has been omitted so that the files are back in full size.
- All files can be packed, but not all can be reduced. Music, video and image files are already compressed.
- These can only be reduced in quality. However, this cannot be undone and it is not possible with the Windows standard tools.
- For this you need free programs like the "Freemake Video Converter" or the "Image Resizer".
