Encrypt emails with Hushmail - how it works
In this practical tip, we will show you how to encrypt your emails with the Hushmail service.
Encrypt emails with Hushmail
- First, log in to Hushmail.
- Click the "Compose" link. Write a new message about it.
- Enter the recipient in the "To" field and the subject in the "Subject" field. Then write your message in the large field.
- If you want to send an email to a recipient who is not registered with Hushmail, you have to enter a question, the answer of which only the recipient and you know. This will encrypt the email.
- If the recipient is registered with Hushmail, you do not need to do anything else.
- If you want to send an attachment, click on "Attach". Then select the desired file.
- With a click on "Send" your email will be sent.
- Note: All pages of Hushmail are encrypted via SSL so that your data is transmitted securely. The emails are encrypted using the "Pretty Good Privacy (PGP)" method.
