Easybox: Release the port - so it'll work
Especially for games, you have to open ports on both the PC and the router. We'll show you how it works with the Easybox.
Release the port in the EasyBox
- Open the user interface by entering the IP address 192.168.2.1 or by entering easy.box.
- If you have not changed the login data, select "root" as the user and "123456" as the password.
- Go to the "Data" tab above and select "Port Mapping" under the "NAT" category on the left.
- You can now release a new port at the bottom right. To do this, you first need the IP address from your computer.
- If you have no special plans, select "TCP & UDP" as the protocol type and enter the desired port in both fields.
- The port in the Easybox is released via the button.
In the next practical tip, we will show you how to change the Easybox password.
